Biodefense Proteomics Catalog - Overview
The Biodefense Proteomics
Catalog is a searchable directory of data generated by the
Biodefense Proteomics Research Centers (PRCs) and available to the community.
This central information source allows users to view data from each center's
research including organism studied, datatype, experimental data and protocols,
identified proteins and complete proteomes as well as visualization tools.
The Biodefense Proteomics Catalog
allows information generated by the PRCs to be viewed in a variety of ways and
has integrated the following components:
-
Summary Information
Organizes and lists the type and amount of information included in the catalog. You may view this information by
Proteomics Research Center or by Organism studied. Also provides links to detailed information in the Master
Protein Directory and the Proteomics Data Center. (See numbers 2 and 3)
Please see the Catalog Table of Contents for a summary of the information that will be contained in the catalog.
-
Master Protein Directory
(Biodefense Proteomics Administrative Center at PIR)
You may view and search a complete directory of proteins identified by the Biodefense Proteomics Research Centers. The Master Protein Directory Links protein sequence and functional annotation to experimental data.
Also available:
-
Complete Predicted Proteomes
--
View and search predicted proteomes being studied by the Biodefense Proteomics Research Centers. Over 60 fields are searchable, a customizable display of functional annotation is provided, and proteins are linked to the catalog of experimental data.
-
CUPID
-- Provides a list of proteins encoded by selected organisms that are unique to the query strain, species, or genus.
-
The Proteomics Data Center
(Biodefense Proteomics Administrative Center at VBI)
Provides interfaces and analysis tools to allow you to view experimental data from the Biodefense Protemics Research Centers located in an integrated information repository. Also allows users to link to the Master Protein Directory to view protein sequence and functional annotation.
Do you have a question about the Biodefense Proteomics Catalog (Data Center,
Master Protein Directory, or any other section)? Please provide your
feedback
