Objective:

Focus on specific targets from viruses in the NIAID list of category A-C pathogens and those causing emerging and re-emerging diseases generating structures that can then be the basis for further therapeutic and diagnostic developments. Studies of viral proteins and their complexes represent a relatively unexplored area in structural biology.
